4 Day Lwiro Primate Sanctuary & Kahuzi Biega – Low Land Gorilla Trekking

Day 1: Arrival in Goma or Kigali

Upon arrival in Goma, transfer to your hotel for relaxed stay. Depending on the arrival time city tour of Goma. Goma is a city of D.R.Congo and the fastest growing city in the country with almost 2 million people. Overnight: Kivu Lodge or similar.

 

Day 2: Transfer to Bukavu- DR Congo – Lwiro Primate Sanctuary Visit

Early in the morning, after a warm breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Bukavu. Bukavu is a city located in the South Kivu Province; the boat cruiser will take 3 hours. Upon arrival, transfer to Lwiro sanctuary for primates visit. After the visit, drive back to Bukavu for rest and overnight stay. Overnight: Panorama Hotel or similar

 

Day 3: Lowland Gorilla tracking tour in Kahuzi Biega – DR Congo

In the morning, you will head for the memorable adventure of tracking the lowland gorillas in Kahuzi Biega National Park. Tracking lowland Gorillas is very amazing, lowland Gorillas differ from the mountain gorillas, the lowland gorillas are bigger in size, the lowland Gorillas stay in bigger families as compared to mountain gorillas; the trek usually takes 1-4 hours tracking the lowland gorillas. You will not regret the safari effort once you meet the amazing Gorillas! Later in the afternoon, drive back to your hotel. Overnight: Panorama Hotel or similar

 

Day 4: Transfer back to Goma for Departure Fligh

In the morning after a relaxed breakfast, you will take a cruise boat back to Goma and drop off at your selected place or to the Airport for the return flight back home.
