Tour Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport

    We meet our tour guide and transfer to our Hotel in Entebbe to relax and get ready for the adventure starting the next day. Overnight at Papyrus guesthouse Entebbe

  • Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    Meet your guide and start off early from Entebbe for the journey to the home of the mountain gorillas. Be prepared for a long day in the car. Along the way you will make a stop by the equator for some photos and have lunch in Masaka or Mbarara depending on the time. Continue on to Bwindi Mountain Gorillas through the neck of the impenetrable forest. The journey offers some great views.

  • Day 3: Living with Mountain Gorillas - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the home to the forest giants that are cousins to human beings, the gorillas. Have an early breakfast before setting off for your gorilla trekking adventure with a specialized guide. Besides the gorillas this Impenetrable Forest is full of birds, butterflies and plant species plus forest hog, forest elephants, statungas and duikers. Enjoy the walk through the forest and spend one hour around the gorillas. After the gorilla trek your guide picks you and depending on the time you are back from trekking you drive retire the day at Lake Bunyonyi mostly known as The Switzerland of Africa due to her endless beauty.   • Day 4: Boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi and Transfer to Entebbe at Leisure

    We start the day with a relaxed breakfast before we take on a boat ride on Africa’s second deepest lake to explore the many incredible islands and birdlife and the amazing local communities. We check out and starting the drive to Entebbe. With lunch stop on the way and getting some time to stretch the legs at the equator. Time allowing. Overnight at Papyrus Guesthouse

  • Day 5: Regional flight from Entebbe International Airport to Kilimanjaro International Airport

    With a lazy breakfast, get ready for the air transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport where your guide will pick you and proceed to the Arusha. Check in at your cozy accomodation as you get ready for the Big 5 encounter in the Northern Tanzania. Overnight at Arusha Planet Lodge

  • Day 6: Transfer to Explore Tarangire National Park - Home of Elephants

    With a lazy breakfast, your guide will pick you up and proceed to the famous Tarangire National park one of the largest national park in Tanzania located in Manyara region. This place is characterized by the large herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions and the fascinating baobab trees called the Tree of Life for its almost mythical powers that some cultures attach to it. This park is especially known for Tarangire River, which flows all year round, and the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. Overnight at Tarangire Simba Lodge

  • Day 7: Explore Lake Manyara - Home of Tree Climbing Lions

    After breakfast, Game drive en route from Tarangire or to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic lake that made Ernest Hemingway exclaim “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. This offers a compact-game viewing circuit and is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Lake Manyara covers two thirds of the park and at the backdrop is the wall of the Great Rift Valley. Expect great views of the park from the top of the lift valley wall. Lake Manyara is also a home to over 400 species of birds and include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration, as well as other large water birds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks.   • Day 8: Transfer to Explore the Serengeti National Park - Living with Predators

    Today we enter the Serengeti National Park from the less visited western gate, and you will marvel at the multitude of animal and bird life while journeying through this acacia-spotted savannah. Game sightings abound. We arrive at the in time to enjoy a respite from the dirt roads and heat of the day and enjoy a hearty lunch. Later on in the afternoon, as the animal kingdom comes alive, continue your search for the “Big 5″ – lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino – while taking in the vastness of the Serengeti plains heading for the lodge as the sun sets on this magnificent animal kingdom.   • Day 9: Big 5 Safari Experience Serengeti National Park - Serengeti will never die

    After an early rise spend the morning exploring the vast Serengeti and we move from location to location in search of sometimes elusive game and visit a waterhole known for its Hippos and alligators. Visit the Masai Kopjes, airstrip area and then back to the heart of Serengeti. Overnight at Into Wild Africa Tented Camp

  • Day 10: Transfer from Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

    After an easy early rise we head towards Ngorongoro Crater, cited as ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ’8th Natural Wonder of the World’. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder referred to as the world’s biggest wildlife zoo, due to its high density of resident game. In the afternoon we descend to the crater floor where you will be amazed by the sheer number and diversity of animals and birdlife. Standing in our pop up safari vehicle the viewing opportunities are endless, just deciding which way to look and what to look at, the choices are unlimited. The sheer excitement as we spot any of the big 5. Tonight as we relax we reflect on what has been a truly remarkable journey like no other experience and marvel in the wonders of the amazing wildlife East Africa has to offer as we experience the Primates and Wildlife Big 5 Safaris – Uganda & Tanzania.   • Day 11: Community Immersion with Masai and Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for departure

    With breakfast at leisure, we check out and transfer to Mto Wa Mbu – a place where you can immerse with the Masai communities. Learn about Masai culture before we start the journey to Kilimanjaro where you are dropped off as we have reached the end of your safari adventure. Here you can plan to catch a flight on to other adventures or back to your home country full of memories to marvel over for a long time.
