Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Guided Community walk to the craters
With an early breakfast, start early to get out of Kampala before traffic jam, stop for a coffee break and photo poses at the equator. Lunch en route as we drive through some villages with cultivated areas until the lush green tea estates in a rich green belt before the escarpment. Check in and enjoy magnificent endless views from your overnight place as the sun sets. In the evening, you will have a guided nature walk through the communities via cocoa and tea plantations until you reach the twin crater lakes for a sun downer. Overnight Pumba Safari cottages
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking in Kalinzu forest and Evening game drives
After breakfast we head over to Kalinzu forest to trek chimpanzee and enjoy the jungle. After the trekking drive back to the lodge for lunch and have a relaxed moment as you calm down the fatigue from the jungle walk. In the evening, we shall head to explore the medley of wonders (Queen Elizabeth national park) with a game drive aimed for members of the big five family including the elephants, buffaloes, and so many antelopes. Day 3: Game-drive and Boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel
Discover Queen Elizabeth National Park in the cool morning, an early game-drive in the Kasenyi area that exposes us to diverse animals, Big 5 members Elephants, Buffalos, big cats- Lions, Leopards more times in the evening, warthogs and Hunchback carnivals like Hyenas and many more species that are residents to this park are spotted along the Circuits as we drive along.
There is a rich bird life especially our version of storks in the wetland spots as we reach the Flamingoes in the salt lakes at Kasenyi. In the afternoon get ready for the Classic highlights on the 2hrs Boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel at 3pm, this is a 36kms channel linking Lake George – Lake Edward. Here you can see land and water Adapted Hippopotamuses Yawning and some slashing canines to each other and the National Geographical Society Killing machine the Nile Crocodile gaping along the Banks and Savannah version of Pigs the Warthog- Pumba of the award winning Lion King are a hallmark sign in this Animal home of the Pearl of Africa. Day 4: Transfer to Kampala
Have a relaxed breakfast appreciating the views from the lodge one last time before embarking on the drive back to Kampala. Stop for lunch in Masaka and continue on to Kampala.
