This 5 Days Scenic Tanzania Adventure allows you to experience the highlights of the Northern Safari Circuit. You will experience breathtaking wildlife in the midst of some of the most diverse landscapes: lions, cheetah, leopard, elephants amongst acacias, and a huge variety of animals inside a collapsed volcano. You will also visit the world famous Serengeti National Park. The landscapes are breathtaking and the variety and volume of wildlife you will see are unforgettable.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to explore Tarangire national park.

Pick up from Arusha Hotel in the morning and drive to the Tarangire National Park for lunch for the camp/Lodge. Afternoon game drive through the park, much of the park is grassland, along with swamps and flood plains, which feed the Tarangire River. Large baobab trees, especially in the northern part of the park, stand dotted throughout the landscape that dominates the landscape. Many of the trees are hundreds of years old. In other places there are forests of acacia, open shrub and groves of palm trees. Famous for its large population of elephants. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Simba Lodge Tarangire rivals the Serengeti by the size of the herds that run it during the dry season (June – November). In those months a large number of animals congregate around the only permanent source of water in the park, the Tarangire River. This is also the best place in Tanzania to see really large herds of elephants, buffalos, leopards and the famous climbing lions.

Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti – Seronera area – Game Viewing.

After an early breakfast, depart towards the most famous National park in the World, the Serengeti. The driving itself, although long, is spectacular. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in local language, “endless plains”. The park has 14,763 km sq. and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the home of the Great Migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes. As for Big Cats and large predators, it’s the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous river crossings having been filmed in this park. overnight at Into Wild Africa Tented Camp

Day 3: Full Day Serengeti Exploration – Living Among Predators

An optional Hot Air Balloon Safari can be added (not included in price) to to the tour any of the days in the Serengeti, providing a spectacular opportunity to view the game from the air. Today you spend the whole day on game drive in this National Park, which is rich with all different species of animals. To maximize game viewing you will carry a picnic lunch with you and spend the full day in the Serengeti National Park. Day 4: Game drive Seronera and Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast you will embark upon a final game drive in the Serengeti before travelling to the Ngorongoro Crater. Arriving at the edge of the crater in the afternoon, you will have your first glimpse of what awaits you the following day – glistening streams, open grassland and an infinite number of animals. You will spend the night at a nearby Lodge on the Crater rim. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino lodge

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration – Transfer to Moshi / Arusha.

We will start the 5 Days Scenic Tanzania Adventure very early and descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on Earth. After the game drive, there will be time for a picnic lunch near the beautiful hippo Lake. After lunch, we will have time for a short game drive and then ascend the crater and exit Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Arusha. We expect to be back in Arusha around 5 pm although we are flexible in case there is a flight to catch or another situation.
