Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Upon arrival, our safari representative will highly be available to welcome and cheer you up as you transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport to your hotel in Arusha. Our staff will answer all your queries regarding your upcoming safari and provide you with a short briefing as well. Get enough rest to overcome the jet lag at your accommodation at Arusha Planet Hotel.
Day 2: Transfer to Explore Tarangire national park
With a lazy breakfast, your guide will pick you up and proceed to Tarangire National park one of the largest national park in Tanzania located in Manyara region, this place is characterized by the large herds of elephants, tree climbing lions, and the fascinating baobab trees also called the Tree of Life for its almost mythical powers that some cultures attach to it. This park is especially known for Tarangire River which flows all year round and the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. Overnight at Acacia Tarangire Luxury camp
Day 3: Proceed to Explore Lake Mayara national park and later to Ngorongoro conservation Area.
After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic lake that made Ernest Hemingway exclaim “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. This offers a compact-game viewing circuit and is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Lake Manyara covers two thirds of the park and at the backdrop is the wall of the Great Rift Valley. Expect great views of the park from the top of the lift valley wall. Lake Manyara is also a home to over 400 species of birds and include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration, as well as other large water birds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks. Day 4: Explore Ngorongoro Crater Rim
With an early breakfast, proceed to a morning game drive in Ngorongoro crater. It’s a full day game drive with a picnic lunch. Late afternoon, we’ll be back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
The jewel in Ngorongoro’s crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti Central
With a lazy breakfast at the Lodge we depart for a drive en route to Serengeti. A hot lunch will be saved in the afternoon. We’ll continue to Serengeti central for the game drive in the evening, check in to the lodge for the overnight stay.
A million wildebeest each one compelled by the same ancient rhythm, fulfilling its instinctive role in the inexorable cycle of life: a hysterical three-week spell of territorial conquests and mating; survival of the fittest as 40km (25 mile) long columns plunge through crocodile-infested waters on the annual exodus north; replenishing the species in a brief population explosion that produces more than 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000 km (600 mile) pilgrimage begins again. Day 6: More wildlife viewing in Seronera – Optional Hot Air Balloon
After breakfast, we will proceed for a full day of game drives in the wilderness tracking the Great migration trails. Our experienced driver tour guide will provide you with interesting facts about this highly renowned event, which made Tanzania the top safari destination in Africa.
A UNESCO world heritage site Serengeti is home to around 200,000 zebras, and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle joining the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Listen to the exotic sounds of over 6 million hooves throbbing the open plains of Serengeti just like how you imagined African wildlife to be.

Day 7: Transfer to Mara Region of Northern Serengeti
Enjoy your breakfast at leisure and depart for the northern part of Serengeti as we chess the wildebeest Migration. In the evening, we plan to be at the Mara river bank as we target the evening crossing of the great migration. River crossings at Kogatende is guaranteed every day in from August to October as the mega herd settles into the area. For August, September and October, game viewing up here is superb with river crossings pretty much guaranteed every day. There is no distinct movement as the herds tend to cross back and forth over the river, following the rains and subsequent fresh grasses. Retire the day at Acacia Migration Camp for an overnight
Day 8: More wildebeest Viewing in Kogatende – Northern Serengeti
Start the day with an early breakfast coupled with an early morning river game drive to view the great migration. Get ready for a long day in the wilderness with picnic lunch. The park is well known for its healthy stock of other resident wildlife, particularly the “big five”, named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters: Lion: The Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due in part to the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem. African Leopard: these reclusive predators are commonly seen in the Seronera region but are present throughout the national park. In the evening we head back to the camp to retire the day. Overnight at Acacia Migration Camp
Day 9: Last Wildebeest River Crossing and Transfer to Karatu
With an early breakfast, as we end the thrilling adventure, we target to witness at least 1 major crossing before we head back to Karatu. We shall have our picnic lunch at Nabi gate and thereafter peruse through the dusty Ngorongoro conservancy until we reach Karatu where we shall have our overnight. Retire the day after a long drive at Eilleen’s Tree camp
Day 10: – Cultural experience in Mto Wa Mbu – Transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International airport
With an early breakfast, we drive to mto wa mbu (River of mosquitoes) for a morning cultural tour and walking safari. We can decide to have a lavish local lunch in the areas before we head back to Arusha or to the airport for your flight back home with lots of African memories.
