The legendary Serengeti Plain is your destination for the next two days, a vast rolling plain whose sparse vegetation allows for some of the best wildlife viewing in the world. The annual migration of wildebeest and zebra is one of the park’s great attractions, but throughout the year the Serengeti is excellent for seeing predators such as lion, leopard and cheetah, along with elephant, giraffe, hyena, hippo, rhino, and many varieties of antelopes and birds. You will enjoy a picnic lunch as you drive to your tented camp in the Northern Mara Area. Overnight at Accacia Migration Camp

As we continue with this Kenya and Tanzania Combo Safari, today you will leave after breakfast and with lunch packed you will drive as you follow the migrations paths depending with the location. We will spend the day following the great migration of about 1.5 million Wildebeests and 500,000 Zebras migrating through the Serengeti Ecosystem. Dangers is everywhere and packs of lion, cheetah and other carnivores are everywhere waiting for the right moment to strike. Crocodiles in Serengeti River does no mercy as the herds cross the river. Thousands are swept by the arrogant waters and the scenes are amazing. Later in the early evening you will drive to your camp for overnight rest. Overnight at Accacia Migration camp

Day 7: Tracing The Big Five In Serengeti – Ancient footsteps

Drive to vast, wildlife-rich Serengeti National Park and through its spectacular mix of savanna grassland and volcanic hills, stopping en route for a privately guided tour of Olduvai Gorge, one of the key sources of prehuman hominid fossils. Renowned paleontologists Mary and Louis Leakey made many notable finds here, including “Nutcracker Man,” who lived approximately 1.75 million years ago. Visit the on-site museum, take in views from the lookout point and examine the excavations, which revealed 3.7-million-year-old footprints and the 1.8-million-year-old skull of a human. Continue to your lodge, which is framed by commanding views of this land of lion, leopard, hyena, cheetah, giraffe and topi. The park also serves as a setting for the Great Migration when it passes through each year. Enjoy your room’s blend of elegant and contemporary design with influences from the traditional Maasai culture. Overnight at  Into wild Africa tented camp

Day 8: Morning Game Drive In Serengeti – Drive To Ngorongoro Crater Highlands

The prairies of this “Lost World” are great spots for watching buffalo and elephant as well as the countless other species that roam the crater’s 100-square-mile floor. You may even sight flamingo (when in season) or the rare black rhino. Following lunch, visit a Maasai village to gain a better understanding of the nomadic cattle-herders’ daily life and culture.
